Texas Rangers Storybook Series features Author, Richard Michelson
Richard Michelson’s critically acclaimed story, As Good as Anybody: Martin Luther King and Abraham Joshua Heschel’s Amazing March Toward Freedom, deals with the story of how two men, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Abraham Joshua Heschel, formed a remarkable friendship and turned their personal experiences of discrimination into a message of love and equality for all. On Thursday, February 9, Michelson will talk to audiences about the friendship of Dr. King and Heschel and discuss the unique relationship of African American and Jewish people during the Civil Rights Movement.
